This past Saturday I had the privilege to go up in a little 2 seater plane with my friends boyfriend. Even when I go up in commercial planes it never ceases to blow my mind that flying is so incredibly amazing. I mean how is it that traveling across the country within hours is considered normal? When 100 years ago we would have been considered insane for even thinking that it was possibility. Regardless
if it’s a 8 hour plane ride to Hawaii or a 10 minute ride down to Madison, the reaction is always the same.
Now when Stephan and I were first about to take off, he asked me where I wanted to go. And it could have been anywhere within reason. I still couldn’t fathom that I actually knew someone who was going to take me flying to get pictures… I mean; how cool is that!? Anyway’s the first place I for sure wanted to go was over a friends house. Now when you read this it seems almost too good to be true. (Other than extremely unfortunate for my friend and her family) Anyways just 45 minutes before I met Stephan at the airport I was at my friends house helping cut limbs off a tree they were about to fall near their house. Well long story short the tree fell alright, but right on their house. What are the odds that of all times for them to cut a tree down, have it land on their house, and have it be a beautiful day for flying, I was going up in a plane minutes later to get pictures? I have to say it was meant to be ;)

Besides the house with a tree on it, we saw so many amazing views. Whether it was the Wisconsin River, Lake Wisconsin and just the beautiful land this state has to offer, I am forever thankful that I had a chance to experience it.
